African cocoa crops fortunately don't suffer from the Witch's Broom that has off and on decimated South American crops. But there are plenty of other diseases to plague this tree whose sweetness makes it attractive to mammals, bugs and fungi.
There are many ways to become involved withe PHF. The easiest to make a financial contribution. PHF have operates with a volunteer board of directors. We have one part time paid contractor in Côte d'Ivoire that helps us. All donations are used to support the villages. You may also choose to donate your time and expertise.
