Success Stories
These are villages that we visit every year and where we have done projects. There are 20 villages in all, and over the years (starting in 2005), we have donated over $97,300. Compared to the problem of poverty in West Africa caused in part by the ridiculously low price of chocolate, especially in the U.S., this is a paltry sum. But we feel very enriched by the friendships that we have made, and we hope to really start making a difference. The purpose of this web site is to let Westerners know how far there is to go.
Essentially, we have to end the colonial period, where Africa merely supplies cheap commodities for the West.
